Dear Muraoka Families,

We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our students, families and staff for an outstanding Quarter 1!  Tomorrow is the official start of Quarter 2 and we will continue with Distance Learning until further notice.

Materials Distribution Make-Up Day

On Tuesday, October 27th from 3-4pm will be a make-up day for Materials Distribution.  If you were unable to come last week, please come by and pick up the items your child will need for this quarter.  This distribution is for all students except preschool.

Red Ribbon Week 2020

Red Ribbon Week®, the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation, is your opportunity to get the ongoing conversation started. This year’s theme is Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.™

We will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week virtually with the following spirit days:

Monday: Crazy Hair Day

Tuesday: “Turn Your Back on Drugs” – Wear your shirt backward

Wednesday: “Stomp Out Drugs” – Wear two different shoes and mismatched socks

Thursday: “My Drug-Free future is so bright…I’ve got to wear shades!” – Wear your favorite sunglasses

Friday: “Wear Red” – Show that you SAY NO TO DRUGS!

COVID Testing

An email was sent home on Friday about COVID Testing that will be happening at Muraoka.  Please see the attached flyer and FAQ for more information.
