Our wonderful AP, Mrs. Rayray will support Muraoka during the principal transition.

We kindly ask that you DO NOT BRING LUNCHES, WATER BOTTLES, OR OTHER ITEMS TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE during the school day. We do not have staff to deliver these items and teaching and learning should not be interrupted. Our office staff must remain in the office, and classrooms should not be disturbed. All students are eligible to receive free lunch at school. Teachers and the office have paper cups for students who forget their water bottles. We also have “emergency” bottled water available outside. Although it may seem that delivering one lunch is not too much to ask, our office can receive up to 30 lunches and other items a day. Beginning this week, no items will be delivered to classrooms, and the office staff will not call classrooms for this purpose.

MURAOKA HAD FOUR NEW COVID CASES REPORTED LAST WEEK. To date, Muraoka has had a total of 35 COVID cases. This is just under just 3.5% of our student population. We remain grateful that to our knowledge, none of our students have been seriously ill. We continue to work diligently to ensure mask-wearing, monitor possible COVID symptoms, and notify and follow up with COVID cases and close contacts. Thank you for your continued support with keeping your children at home if they have any COVID symptoms and letting the office know the reason for your children’s absences.  Please continue to contact us with any COVID-related questions. Please ask your children about this. The Momonga 4 are: Be SAFE, Be RESPECTFUL, Be RESPONSIBLE, and Be KIND.
