We are so excited for our APEX Fun Run event this Thursday! Our Momongas have loved having the APEX Team on campus. The leadership lessons have been wonderful, and Muraoka is on track to raise a considerable amount for our school. Please consider asking family and friends for a pledge!
New News:
Momonga Monday: We are looking forward to Momonga Monday! We encourage students and staff to wear Momonga spirit wear or our school colors. We will start our Blacktop assembly at 8:15 each Monday.
Kindergarten playground: We are very excited that our Kindergarten playground now has tricycles, complete with track and signage, basketball hoops and sand tables. Our Mini-Momongas are having fun with their new equipment.
Apex Fun Run: Every student will receive a free t-shirt for the Fun Run. Please make sure you have logged on to provide your child’s shirt size. The Apex Fun Run will be a student only event. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Covid Update: Muraoka had 5 new cases reported the last week. If students are not communicable while on campus (due to Thanksgiving break), notices are not sent. To date, Muraoka has had a total of 45 positive COVID cases. Thank you for your continued support with keeping your children at home if they have any COVID symptoms and letting the office know the reason for your children’s absences. Please continue to contact us with any COVID-related questions. Please email COVID test results to our Attendance/Health Clerk, melina.cardenas@cvesd.org
Coaching Opportunities at Muraoka: The following sports will be offered next semester through CVESD Intramural Sports: Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. Please see Valeria Abitia know if you are interested in coaching one of these sports and we will get you started with the volunteer paperwork. Valeria.abitia@cvesd.org

Office visits to drop off personal items: We kindly ask that you DO NOT BRING LUNCHES WATER BOTTLES, OR OTHER ITEMS TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE during the school day. Unfortunately, we have had an overwhelming number of parents visiting the office to deliver personal items and we are unable to accommodate these requests.
