We hope all our Momongas had a wonderful weekend! This is our last week of school before winter break and we want to thank you for another amazing quarter at Muraoka. We will end our quarter with Spirit Week, VAPA rotations and Matsuri Awards.
New News:
MATSURI Awards: We will be allowing 2 parents/guardians of each Matsuri award recipient to attend the awards assembly. All parents /guardians will be asked to remain outside of the double glass doors to our Multipurpose Room. Thank you in advance for leaving campus as soon as your child receives their award. Teachers have notified the families of this quarter’s MATSURI Award recipients. Please see grade level schedule at the end of this bulletin.
Apex Fun Run: Our Momongas rocked the fun run! Such a fun time was had by all, and we exceeded our fundraising goal. Thank you for your support and for helping make this year’s Apex Fun Run our best one yet!
Covid Update: Muraoka had 2 new cases reported the last week. To date, Muraoka has had a total of 47 positive COVID cases. Thank you for your continued support with keeping your children at home if they have any COVID symptoms and letting the office know the reason for your children’s absences. Please continue to contact us with any COVID-related questions. Please email COVID test results to our Attendance/Health Clerk, melina.cardenas@cvesd.org

Office visits to drop off personal items: We kindly ask that you DO NOT BRING LUNCHES WATER BOTTLES, OR OTHER ITEMS TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE during the school day. Unfortunately, we have had an overwhelming number of parents visiting the office to deliver personal items and we are unable to accommodate these requests.
Coaching Opportunities at Muraoka: The following sports will be offered next semester through CVESD Intramural Sports: Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball.
