Volunteer Protocol Update:
Our district policy for unvaccinated volunteers has changed. Effective February 22, 2022, CVESD will be allowing unvaccinated parents to participate as volunteers/chaperones if they test weekly. Parents must present negative test results to our office staff. Volunteers must continue to wear masks on campus and follow all other requirements to volunteer.
Incoming Kindergarten Parent Meeting:
Do you have an incoming kindergarten student? Please join us for an informational session this Thursday, Feb 24th at 5pm to get your questions answered prior to the start of registration.

Covid Weekly Testing at Muraoka:
Weekly testing through Covid Clinic will begin March 2nd. Please be sure to register if you would like your child to be tested weekly at Muraoka. This is optional for students but a requirement for any student involved in a Muraoka sports team. If you want to register your student, please visit: https://school.covidclinic.org/register. If you had previously opted in, but would like to opt-out, please email: k12@covidclinic.org
Traffic Updates:
Please help us keep our students and families safe by following these guidelines:
- Please avoid parking or driving through the bus loop.
- Please DO NOT use the staff parking lot for pick up or drop off
- Please only use designated cross walks to cross the street
- Do not leave your vehicle unattended in red or yellow zones
- Please adhere to 25mph on our surrounding streets

We need your help planning for the new school year that is quickly approaching! To assist us in successfully planning for the new school year, it is very helpful to know if your child(ren) will be returning to Muraoka in July. Please take a moment to answer the following survey:
ELPAC
Our students who are second language learners of English will be taking the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California) in the coming weeks. A notification would have already gone out to you if your student is participating in this assessment.
Adolescent Growth Education Parent Preview Night for Grades 4/5/6:
Join the zoom meeting to learn more about the adolescent growth education resources that will be shared with your 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
