Parent Bulletin ~ 5-9-22 to 5-13-22

Thank you from the Bottom of our Hearts!

We greatly appreciate all our families and PTO at Muraoka! You made us feel so loved and valued during Staff Appreciation Week! The heartfelt notes, gifts, supplies, delicious treats, flowers, and staff luncheon were so wonderful.  Thank you for spoiling us all! Muraoka Families are the best!

End of Year Testing Continues

Our end of the year state and local measures assessments will continue this week. Attendance and punctuality are critical during this time. Every day that your child is present and on time for school, they will earn a raffle ticket! Raffle tickets will be drawn each afternoon for a chance to win a popsicle or a trip to the prize box. Best of luck to all our Momongas in the upcoming weeks. We are very proud of the growth we have seen already!

Testing Tips:

  • Arrive on time- Testing will begin promptly at the start of the school day.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast on campus or at home- start the day with a meal that incudes healthy energy boosting foods such as eggs or whole wheat toast!
  • Get a good night’s rest- at least 8-10 hours of sleep will prepare students to do their best!
  • Think positive thoughts-you can encourage your child to take slow deep breaths and think of something that makes them happy if they start to feel stressed during the test.
  • Do your best- Our Momongas will do great! Encourage your child to do their best to show what they know and that they are ready!
