As we embark on our fourth week of the school year, we cannot thank you enough for your support during this time of Distance Learning! We faced a few technology challenges this week, but everyone persevered. Thank you!

Parent Workshop
Tomorrow, September 21, 2020 from 6-7pm there is a virtual parent session on “Parenting During COVID.” Click on Mental Health Parent Ed 2020 (2) for the Zoom link to attend.
PTO
As we prepare to start the school year we need to also create our PTO executive board team. This election process was left unfinished at the end of the school year due to the pandemic and the quarantine. With all the changes happening the importance of our Parent Teacher Organization is even more important to help support all students, teachers and staff as we navigate this school year. All four PTO positions are open for nominations and I hope you consider helping our community with your volunteering to participate. A description of the positions is included in the nomination form and if you have more questions please send them to Muraoka.pto@gmail.com.
ELAC Meeting – ALL Welcome to Attend
Our first Muraoka ELAC Meeting of the year will be Thursday, September 24th at 8:15am. This meeting will be virtual! The topic – Productive Struggle and Growth Mindset. Click HERE for the meeting link.
